Physician Services
Physicians play a vital role within the hospice team, with multiple doctors potentially assigned to each patient. Patients and their families have the right to designate a primary care physician for their hospice care. Once the hospice benefit is elected and a physician is assigned, our medical director will also join the care team to guarantee 24/7 availability of medical support.
When necessary, hospice and palliative care physicians can visit patients in their homes, ensuring high-quality care and continuity. Additionally, specialists in areas such as wound care, gastrostomy tubes, and podiatry are available to provide specific procedures and consultations, further enhancing the level of care provided
